A Typical Barkyard Adventure with the Huskies

Just another typical summer day hanging out with some huskies.  They spend their days going in and out of the house.  They love the comfort of a couch and the shade of the roof, but they also love the open space of the yard.  So the mental conflict arises of what to do! Play ball?  Or camp out on the couch in the AC?

So we run around until we are too hot, then beg to go inside, have a big drink of watch, nap for 30 min, and do it all over again!

The big husky is Sahvin (pronounced Saw-vin).  And the spry little husky is Charles or Charlie (originally Charlotte). They both were fated to be working dogs at a dog sledding lodge in Quebec City, but ended up becoming my pets instead.  Sahvin was a gift for my 21st birthday, and Charles was a spur of the moment impulse buy while on vacation in Quebec.  And yes, I know, gift pets and impulse pets are bad ideas but in this case it worked out.

During the filming of this video, Sahvin was 3 and Charles was 1 and 1/2 years old.
